Direction Following activities for adults

Adults hate being treated like children. And, unfortunately, the most common activities (especially for Listening Skills) is geared toward kids.  Here are some grown-up activities for direction following:

Make sure you're patient and give them plenty of time  to answer.  Wait until it's almost awkward.  Let them indicate when when they are ready for help. (read more benefits of the awkward silence.)
